Chocolate contains anandamides, 2-10% theobromine, and xanthine alkaloid. According to studies, theobromine has the ability to suppress nerves responsible for the cough reflex. Moreover, it can also keep you awake which is especially useful when driving on long distance.

  1. Teabags for Burns

You can apply cool, wet, used tea bag (green or black tea) to a small burn to get relief. Green tea can reduce the risk of skin damage due to its antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate. For mild sunburn, you can add a couple of teabags to bath water.

  1. Crushed Aspirin for Acne

Salicylic acid is the main ingredient in anti-acne treatments. Aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid which you can crush and mix with a little water to make the paste. Apply the paste on your acne. It will reduce the red pimples in just one hour. Always check the packaging of the aspirin since it often contains a warning about not being used by people under the age of 19.

  1. Vodka for Smelly Feet

Vodka has the ability to destroy the bacteria responsible for the bad smell of your feet. Wipe down your toes with vodka-soaked cloth or tissue.

  1. Banana Peels for Acne

Banana peel contains essential nutrients, including antioxidants, lutein (can protect from sun damage) and esterified fatty acids which can treat eczema and psoriasis.

  • Rub the inside of a banana peel on the affected area for a couple of minutes until the inside of the peel turns brown.
  • Let it dry for 20-30 minutes or overnight, as it dries the skin will absorb all the nutrients from the peel.

The Magic Eraser has powerful cleaning properties due to its micro abrasive effects. Dryer sheets have the similar properties. If you wet them they are excellent scrubbers. You can try them on tile and the shower and wipe the surface with a clean damp cloth.

  1. Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar for Restless Leg Syndrome

Take one teaspoon of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar and mix it in a glass of water. Consume the mixture every day. A number of people have reported that this mixture is highly effective.
